Project overview

The Overview tab provides a real-time summary of your project's status, making it easy to see overall progress and identify activities that may require attention.

Written by Camilla Lekman Hansen

To access the Overview, open your project and select the Overview tab.

The Overview includes a left hand side panel and a table overview.

Side panel:

  • Project timeline – the project's scheduled end date and the number of days remaining until the end date. (1)

  • Project progress – the project's current actual and expected progress, shown as percentages. (2)

  • Activity summary – a pie chart showing the number of activities that are in progress, delayed, or have problems. The chart does not include completed activities nor activities that have not yet started if they are scheduled for a future date. (3)

Collapse the side panel if you do not want to see it. (4)

Table overview:

Tab Ongoing includes the same tasks as the pie chart in the side panel.

Click the column header to sort the list by that column.

Tab Completed includes all activities that are awaiting sign-off or were signed off within the last 30 days.

The icon in Last update column indicates how recently progress has been reported.

Green check mark – the most recent progress update was reported within the last 6 days.

Red indicator – the most recent progress update was reported more than 6 days ago.

Grey cross – no progress has ever been reported for the activity.

A progress update is recorded whenever the activity's progress bar is updated by changing the progress percentage.

Note: Signing off a task, adding a comment, or making other updates that do not trigger the progress bar will not generate a progress update.
