To create a group
Select one or many tasks to be in the group. The tasks needs to be after eachother, otherwise a new empty group will be added at the bottom of your project.
Click the hammer icon in the toolbar.
Select Group.
Rename the group by double-clicking its name in the group side panel on the right.
Note: Only the group name can be edited directly.
Group details:
Group name
Task dates: Shows the earliest start date and latest end date of any tasks in the group. The duration is also calculated from the earliest to the latest task date within the group.
Group progress: Calculated based on the progress of all tasks within the group.
To change a group's dates or progress, adjust the dates or tasks within the group, or move tasks in or out of the group.
Move tasks and groups
Use the left-hand side panel to move tasks and groups vertically within the Gantt chart.
Select a range of tasks by clicking the first item, holding Shift, and clicking the last item or chosing specific tasks with Ctrl.
Drag tasks or groups of tasks up and down using the dots icon to the left 
.
A dark line shows where the task or group will be placed. Drop it when it's located inside or outside the group you want.
Note how the line changes depending on whether it is placed outside or inside a group. The group where the task will end up is also highlighted in light grey.
Open and close groups
Click the triangle next to a group name to open or close the group.
To open or close all groups, use the folder icons in the toolbar.
Delete Groups
To delete a group:
Select the group name to open the group side panel.
Click the three dots and select Delete.
Choose whether to:
Delete only the group. The tasks remain in the project. Any subgroups are also kept.
Delete the group and all tasks . Deletes the group, all tasks in it, and all subgroups and their tasks.
To delete several groups at once:
Hold Ctrl and select the group names you want to delete.
The Bulk action panel opens.
Select Delete to delete the groups in one go.
