By default, progress is reported as a percentage. With Custom units, you can report progress using any unit that is relevant to your task instead.
For example, you can use Custom units to track:
Tonnes of concrete poured.
Kilometres of road paved.
Number of items installed.
Set up Custom units on a task
Select the task.
Click the three dots and press Edit.
Go to Reporting options.
Select Custom unit.
Enter the Unit type you want to use, for example windows.
Enter the Range to define the total number of units for the task.
Save the task.
You can now report progress on the task using the selected unit instead of a percentage.
Set up Custom units on multiple tasks
If you need to set up Custom units on multiple tasks, you can update them in bulk using the CSV reimport function. Read more here.
