Milestones can be used for deliveries and deadlines in a project. They can cover physical deliveries, such as windows, as well as approvals, important meeting deadlines, quality assurance checks, reporting, uploading and completion of drawings, and the final project handover.
Unlike activities, milestones are simple Not started or Completed answers. There is no percentage progress or user-defined progress.
Milestones are not included in the calculation of the project's total progress, which is based only on activities. (Read more here)
