The platform allows you to manage non-working days in two ways:
Country holiday calendars provided and maintained by Geniebelt.
Custom company calendars where you can add your own company-specific non-working days, for example for company holidays, shutdown periods, or internal events.
These calendars ensure that non-working days are automatically blocked in project schedules.
Only Company owners and admins can create and manage Company calendar.
Project leaders can apply an existing company calendar to their project, but cannot edit the company calendar.
Creating a Company calendar
Go to Company Settings
Click Customise your calendar
3. Automatically include public holidays in your Company calendar (optional).
Use the dropdown menu at the top of the page to select a country specific holiday calendar. These days will be marked in yellow and cannot be edited.
4. Add your company’s own non-working days in two ways:
Calendar view - best for adding multiple days quickly.
List view - useful if you prefer working with a structured list of dates.

When adding non-working days:
Select the date(s)
Enter a name for the non-working days
Confirm the name by clicking the check mark to save it
Your company’s own non-working days will appear in grey.
If you make a mistake, you can edit or remove the grey entries later.
5. When you have finished creating the calendar, click Save calendar and close.
Your company calendar is now available.
Using the Company calendar in projects
Go to Project Settings
Find the Public holiday section
Select the Company calendar. It will appear at the top of the list and will be named after your company.
Once selected, all defined public holidays and company non-working days will automatically be displayed and blocked in the project schedule.
