Removing a user from company and projects

You can remove a user from the company and all associated projects in one go.

  1. Hover over the user’s name in the user list under Company members.

  2. Click the red person icon to the right.

If the user is a project leader for any projects:

  1. Select a new project leader in the pop-up window.

  2. Check the option to remove the user from all company projects.

  3. Confirm the action by pressing Remove and transfer.

  • The project leadership is now transferred to the new person.

  • The new project leader receives an email notification about the transfer.

  • The user is removed from all projects.

Removing a user from projects only

If you want to remove a user that is not a company-level member but only part of projects:

  • Add the user temporarily as a company member.

  • Then remove the user from the company and all projects using the same process.

Important Notes

  • The user does not receive an email about being removed from the company nor projects.

  • The user will receive an email invitation when temporarily added to the company. However, clicking this invitation will not work, because the user has already been removed from the company again by you.
